Ways to Give

Your generous support, along with that of our other donors and partners in philanthropy, allows St. John’s Healthcare Foundation to raise, manage and distribute funds in support of the mission and values of St. John’s Hospitals.

You can read about the many ways that our hospitals help improve the health and quality of life in our community, in our latest Community Benefit report.

Humanitarian Gift Society
Join our largest Annual Giving Society- The HUMANITARIANS

The two hospitals receive support through many means.  The most revered and prestigious of these is the St. John’s Humanitarian Gift Society.

The St. John’s Humanitarian Gift Society was created in 1952 by a dedicated group of business, civic and medical leaders who recognized the importance of making a significant investment to ensure the availability of high-quality health care resources to their community. Members play a crucial role in the hospitals’ mission by raising funds to ensure that St. John’s Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital are equipped to maintain the highest standards of care for the twenty-first century and beyond.  The group’s importance to the hospitals continues to increase as government funding cutbacks and the growth of managed care make private philanthropy an ever-more-vital factor in health care delivery.

The principal benefit of membership in The St. John’s Humanitarian Gift Society is the knowledge that you are playing an influential role in fostering the health and well-being of thousands of your neighbors and advancing the quality of life in your community. Contributions at every level are tax-deductible.
