2023 Employee Giving Campaign
Philanthropy, from the Greek philanthropia, means "kindliness, humanity, benevolence, love to mankind." Philanthropy is a love of humanity! Funds raised through philanthropy help to make our hospitals special.
As an employee of St. John's Hospitals, you demonstrate your generosity and kindness every day. By participating in St. John's Healthcare Foundation's employee giving campaign, you can show your kindness in a different way, while supporting compassionate, high quality health care for our patients.
Priority giving areas:
- Nursing improvement fund
- Community health outreach programs, including food pantry
- Area of greatest need
Why to give
Philanthropy is one way to express gratitude for St. John's Hospitals and care for your colleagues. It’s not how much you give, it’s about spreading kindness by participating.
100% of all donations go back into our hospitals, enhancing the facilities we work in, the services we provide to our patients, and the programs we are passionate about.
Not sure how much to give? Consider giving an amount equal to one hour of your salary per pay period.
How to give
You can make a gift in a number of convenient ways:
Debit or credit card
Please complete the online donation form below or call the Foundation office at 805.988.2868.
PTO or payroll deduction
You can give with a one-time or recurring deduction from your paycheck.
You can donate hours from your Paid Time Off (PTO) bank. A great option for employees with PTO hours they don't plan to use or for those nearing their PTO cap.

Check or cash
- Print, complete, and sign the Employee Giving Form (click here to download).
- Drop off the completed form and your donation at the Foundation office in Suite 400 of the Medical Offices Building (MOB) at SJRMC or send the form and your gift to the Foundation via inter-departmental mail or regular mail. Our mailing address is St. John's Healthcare Foundation, 1600 N. Rose Ave., Oxnard, CA 93030.
Giveaway items - while supplies last
- All donors: Employee Giving Campaign sticker
- $19.12 minimum donation: Dignity Health-branded socks (orange/white) or neck gaiter (teal)
- $110 minimum donation: Dignity Health-branded baseball cap (tan or dark green)
- $500 min. donation ($19.12 per pay period): 1912 Club pin and one of the above items
